Tell me more... This key position will also provide effective executive leadership and management of Health Services in partnership with TCHHS Executive Directors and other stakeholders, as appropriate.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Understands the organisation's role and considers multiple perspectives when assessing the ramifications of key issues on the organisation and community. Provides advice to Government that reflects analysis of a broad range of issues and the whole of Government agenda.
• Drives activities that support organisational and operational sustainability. Engenders a culture of accountability, transparency and achievement, demonstrating a commitment to achieving outcomes and compliance.
• Builds and sustains relationships within the organisation, across the public service and with a diverse range of external stakeholders. Drives a culture of collaboration and participation, setting high personal standards of cooperative and collaborative behaviour.
• Displays personal commitment to the purpose and philosophy of the public service, presenting a united leadership voice and support of other leaders.
• Clarifies and effectively communicates broad and highly complex issues to a wide range of audiences. Ensures that open communication is operating through the organisation.

Requirements for the role:

• Whilst not mandatory, an advanced degree in a relevant field is highly desirable.
• Appropriate management and leadership experience and advanced training in business or healthcare is desirable.
• Thorough knowledge of modern management principles, practices, and methods.
• Considerable knowledge in the health service delivery environment with a clinical activity costing and performance management focus would be highly regarded.
