Executive / Head Chef - Big Easy Group New Venue

Then we have the role for you! This is a great opportunity to be part of the team at The Big Easy Group in their newest venture. This venue will be our largest to date with the goal to be one of Adelaide's top dining destinations.

The Big Easy Group is a bunch of mates who are making the Adelaide hospitality scene their own. A group who take their venues seriously, but not themselves.

Kicking things off with their first venue in 2015, NOLA Adelaide. The Big Easy Group then went on to run the Adelaide Fringe Club in 2018, followed by a series of new venues in the following years, including Anchovy Bandit, Bottega Bandito, Yiasou George, The Stag Public House, Bowden Brewing, Masa Kitchen and Bandit Pizza and Wine. 

The Role

The role is for an Executive and Head chef team to help deliver this new venture. We are looking for an experienced and capable team, to fill lead the kitchen and help us deliver on a new concept. Our ethos is simple, it's all about local seasonal food produced in a kitchen with a positive culture. 

This new venture is centered around the fire with quality at the forefront of everything we do! From the food being served to the customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the kitchen team to prepare and serve dishes to the highest standards
• Help plan and direct food preparation and service
• Help with placing orders and monitoring stock-take where required
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Enjoy what you do, because we sure do!

Is this role for you?

To be successful in this role you will NEED:

• A bloody great and positive attitude
• Prior experience in a similar role

The following would also be favorable:

• Experience cooking with fire, wood, or Perilla Grills
• Experience with a range of venues and cuisine.
