Here you'll work with the General Manager of Client Acquisition and State portfolio Executive Managers to originate new-to-bank business to Business Banking (BB) across the Business, Commercial and Corporate segments ($30m - $500m turnover), primarily general diversified industries.

The role focuses on maintaining/developing technical proficiency, coaching, mentoring, and leading a sales team to deliver exceptional customer service. It also involves executing and supporting the origination of profitable debt and transactional banking opportunities for BB in the corporate mid-market.

Duties may involve:

Coaching and supporting the presenting of pitches to potential high value mid-market corporate clients and prospects, either private or listed companies, in conjunction with BB Relationship teams;

Assessing viability of transactions and developing financing solutions;

Project managing the execution of transactions, and the development of transaction opportunities within the BB network.

What are we looking for?

It is essential that you have a degree in commerce, business or related field and experience in finance and/or banking. You are an energetic and resilient professional who has demonstrable capability in achieving outstanding sales results and understands the importance of pipeline excellence. You will also have:

Experience in running a successful client facing business in a financial institution (desirable), with a strong focus on the importance of coaching to achieve exceptional results

Extensive knowledge of banking and financial services solutions

Strategic thinking with the ability to stimulate thought leadership for the benefit of the team

Experience in originating new-to-bank diversified business/deals in the Mid-Market/Corporate Banking

Strong credit skills

Coaching and mentoring abilities
