The South Australian Certificate of Education Board (SACE Board) of South Australia’s primary role is the provision of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) to government, non-government and international schools.

The IMPACT you will drive at the SACE Board

The Executive Services Officer is responsible for the provision of confidential, responsive and professional executive and administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer, Executive and Office of the Chief Executive.

What you will BRING

Proven ability to sustain high level performance, determine priorities, organise workloads and meet demanding work deadlines.
Proven high level verbal and written communication skills and the ability to undertake research and write concise reports, minutes, and letters for a range of purposes.
Ability to establish sound and effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment and contribute to a spirit of team cooperation.
Ability to work with limited direction, produce a high quality of work, working under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
Significant experience in the provision of executive support to an Executive Manager, Director or Chief Executive.
Experience in managing high level executive correspondence.
High level of proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Knowledge of appropriate protocol and procedures relevant to the functions of a Chief Executive.

Special Conditions

Some out-of-hours work.
The incumbent works under the SACE Board of South Australia Act 1983.
Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Working with Children Check from the Department of Human Services and in accordance with the SACE Board policy.

Remuneration

ASO4 classification level. $74,315 - $77,901 per annum plus superannuation.

This is a term vacancy for up to 2 years.
