About the role
Working in an agile environment you will assist with; end to end user acceptance testing, signing off functionality changes according to business suitability, overall user experience, user design and set requirements.
You will also be required to support website updates and configuration changes including any incident management triage/resolution. With a focus on fulfilment and delivery aspects of the customer journey you will need to both establish and implement operational changes on a regular basis..
This is a very hands-on role with website configuration responsibility as a large part of the role, with a number of technical conversations continually taking place to help resolve problems with the best possible solutions.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Help lead initiatives and work with stakeholders to resolve any potential problems.
- Input to the solution design of all initiatives to ensure suitability for the operational environment and the optimum customer experience.
- Configuration of new and existing functionality
- Successfully complete manual user acceptance testing for each project and flag any potential defects with the project team.
- Construct and execute test, verification and implementation plans to ensure functionality changes have no negative impact to end users.
- Assist in the deployment of new functionality to our production environment.
- Document and demonstrate to other stakeholders across the business how functionally works end to end.
- Be an escalation point to investigate and resolve website issues reported by customers or other sources within a timely manner. Identify and deliver any proactive operational activity that can be taken to minimise negative impact to customers or business.
- Occasional after hours and weekend support as required.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for talented, enthusiastic, and highly professional individual with excellent communication and stakeholder skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to be both a self-starter and strong team player.
A great all-rounder who is comfortable working across the Business, Technology and Product & Domain, who can deliver a great experience to our audience by ensuring our propositions are brought to life through operational excellence and continuous improvements of woolworths.com.au and mobile app.
Required skills and experience includes:
- Manual User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Writing documentation including user manuals
- Solid experience working within an agile framework
- Experience configuring and testing digital platforms
- Previous experience working with web and app development teams
- SQL queries and data sets
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript desirable
- Previous experience working in an online retail environment is highly desirable
- Tertiary qualifications and / or relevant industry certifications
