Our Company
We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant to become Managing Director of our sole practitioner Chartered accountancy firm in Milsons Point to manage and grow the business. We provide taxation and accounting services to family groups, particularly SMSF’s, as well as a Director related boutique investment manager.
Your Role will include
- Preparation of financial statements and tax returns
- Preparation of BAS & IAS Statements
- Preparation of electronic workpapers, audit papers and liaising with external auditors
- Preparation of quarterly management reporting
- Liaising with ATO when required
- New and existing client development
- Quarterly reconciliations of investment balances
- Managing all aspects of the accountancy firm
About You
The ideal candidate will have the following key requirements: -
- CA ANZ Membership
- Tax Agent registration
- Experience in a senior accounting role
- Experience in management and investment accounting for SMSFs
- Experience with XERO and/or MYOB Accountants Enterprise
- Some experience and interest in investment matters
- Excellent written and communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, unsupervised and collaboratively
- An excellent focus on Client Service
