Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of baristas and ensure the smooth operations of the coffee bar area
- Train, support, and mentor baristas, ensuring they deliver consistently high-quality drinks and exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with the cafe manager to develop and implement new menu items, promotions, and strategies to enhance customer experience and drive sales
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, adhering to our cafe's quality standards
- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and create positive relationships with regular patrons
- Keep up to date with industry trends and participate in coffee-related research and development initiatives

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a barista or in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume cafe environment
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while providing exceptional service
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect and engage with a diverse range of customers and team members
- A passion for coffee and a sound understanding of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive work environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
