Experienced Dental Practice Coordinator Required

We are seeking an experienced, Dual trained practice Coordinator to join our team based at our Southport location. Our practice includes 3 surgeries, onsite auxillary services, digital CBCT, lat ceph & intra oral scanner machine. The position has the ability to lead into a further managerial role for the right candidate. 

The position available is for a fulltime applicant throughout Monday- Friday. This is a dual trained role as a Practice Coordinator leading the team and management of the practice on a local level. 

The position main duties to begin with will include: 

• Chair side assisting
• general reception duties
• Patient follow ups 
• Implementing and following policies & procedures
• Coordinating patient appointments 
• Telephone duties
• Instrument sterilising 
• staff rostering 
• local reconciling of accounts & payments 
• monitoring and adhering to policies and procedures within the practice

Skills and experience

• chairside experience necessary
• Experience with managing staff & providers 
• Experience with the daily operations of a dental surgery
• certificate III in dental assisting or higher would be advantageous or willing to obtain within the support of the company.
• experience with exact software - desirable but not essential. 
• strong telephone skills necessary
• must have own transport
• experience with deputy & lightyear
