The opportunity
We are looking for Experienced Senior Consultants and Managers to join Perth’s leading tax practice in our Corporate Tax team.
It’s an exciting time to join our high performing and rapidly growing team. The role will deliver great opportunities for you to work across a range of large corporate clients in a variety of industries to help shape and enhance business strategies and solve tomorrow’s tax problems today. In this role, you will work across multiple projects and clients, both autonomously and as a team member, collaborating with our global tax network. Your key responsibilities
As an Experienced Senior Consultant or Manager, you will be central to delivering pragmatic solutions to help our clients solve complex corporate tax problems and efficiently manage their tax responsibilities. Specifically, you will gain deep knowledge and experience by delivering on corporate tax compliance and reporting obligations, providing practical tax advice, assist our clients to strengthen their tax corporate governance and to facilitate and manage dealings with the ATO.
Through your role, you will also be learning and using leading technology solutions to solve corporate tax problems. You will have hands on experience working with a range of technology solutions, including automation and analytical software to enhance the ability of our clients to use, visualise and interpret data, as well as providing input into strategic initiatives and programs for our clients.
Skills and attributes for success
Experience providing tax advisory and tax compliance services to Australian based and multinational corporate clients (including corporate income tax return and tax effect accounting)
A keen interest and a willingness to learn new skill sets
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
Good project management skills, and the ability to work to deadlines
Ability to develop strong and broad relationships with clients
Ability to delegate to and mentor our staff
Enthusiasm and a strong passion to succeed
Strong team player
To qualify for the role you must have
Corporate tax experience, ideally gained in a big 4 or second tier accounting/tax firm, with at least 4 years minimum experience.
