Fresh Chilli Thai restaurant is an authentic Thai restaurant where we offer our customers a variety of Thai dishes that prepared by our experienced Chefs that specialise in Thai cuisine. We are very proud to present our Thai roots and culture through our food and exceptional services from our sta%. About the role: As a chef, your responsibilities will be:
- Plan menus and revise menu offerings on a regular basis, taking into account feedback from Restaurant Manager.
- Purchasing and selecting produce as well as managing relationships with suppliers.
- Keep abreast of new cooking techniques and adopt these to ensure continuous improvement in the meal preparation process.
- Prepare meals in line with agreed recipes.
- Train staffs as necessary utilising both on the job training techniques and when required send staffs on approved external relevant training.
- Ensure all OHS requirements are complied with by all staffs in the kitchen.Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a chef.
- Minimum Certificate IV in a relevant held.
- Be able to work in the fast-paced environment, and under pressure.
- Has service mind, and detail-oriented.
- Be able to work independently and good at decision making.
