Tyre Fitters required. Workshop and Service mobile techs.
The tyre fitter works as part of a team of fitters who are responsible for providing a high level of service to the customers that attend to retail workshop for onsite tyre, rim and wheel service.
Role Summary:
The tyre fitter fits passenger, truck and bus tyres to rims up to 24inch and fits wheels to vehicles. They perform wheel alignments, wheel balancing and puncture repairs and general housekeeping in the retail bay at the Kewdale facility.
The tyre fitter is responsible for working safely and not doing anything that would affect the health and safety of others at work.
The role reports to the Retail Leading Hand.
Primary tasks and responsibilities:
- Tyre analysis
- Preparing a vehicle for inspection / tyre fitting
- Fitting tyres to rims
- Wheel balancing
- Wheel alignment
- Puncture repairs
- General housekeeping
You need these:
- Generally good level of physical fitness
- C class Drivers Licence
- Forklift Licence LF
And we will look for these too:
- Ability to work in a fast paced workshop environment
- Proactive with the ability to work well as part of a small team
- Strong customer service focus
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
