Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role will be responsible for the continued technical interpretation, pulling together various geological, geophysical and structural datasets to help in delivering exploration success.
The position
As part of tight knit and highly capable executive leadership team, you will have responsibility for driving the company's exploration strategy and activities whilst supporting the Managing Director and board.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Applying modern geophysics, structural and geochemical datasets to aid in refining suitable exploration targets.
- Planning, coordinating, and managing drilling programs and contractors.
- Producing technical reports for the company & mines department.
- Presentations to the board and attendance at various mining and investment conferences.
- Analysis and evaluation of acquisition opportunities.
The successful individual will have previous experience in exploration activities and bringing drilling programs to fruition.
Key requirements include:
10 years+ post graduate experience, ideally possessing prior experience within copper, base and precious metals systems.
- Ability to work within a tight knit leadership team and autonomously.
- Critical thinker, who can focus and deliver on what's important.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that enable you to communicate fluently with a wide range of people.
