About the Role
Community Support Workers support Senior clients and clients with a disability and their carers with:
Community Support: escorting clients on community outings e.g. shopping trips, excursions, lunches, appointments
Domestic Support: vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and toilets, changing bed linen, clothes washing, dusting and ironing in line with the client’s service plan
Personal Care: showering, dressing, grooming
Food Preparation: light meal preparation and serving of meals
Maintain client independence and safety: Monitor the well-being of clients and report any significant changes in health, behaviour, social conditions

Skills & Experience
Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent – applicants in progress of completion will be considered
Victorian Drivers licence
Own vehicle for work use
Current Working with Children Check
Current Level 2 First Aid
Interest or experience in working with clients to maintain their independence at home and in the community
Ability to develop supportive relationships with clients and an interest in working with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds
