Description
Window Manufacturing: Fabricate windows by cutting, shaping, and assembling frame components, glass panes, and hardware according to design specifications.
Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials (such as wood, aluminium, vinyl, or Fiberglas) based on project requirements for energy efficiency, durability, and aesthetics.
Glazing: Install glass panes into window frames with precision to ensure proper sealing, insulation, and aesthetics.
Hardware Installation: Add hardware components like locks, hinges, handles, and screens to windows as needed.
Finishing: Apply coatings, finishes, and sealants to windows to enhance appearance and protect against environmental factors.
Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on fabricated windows to ensure they meet safety, functional, and visual standards before shipment or installation.
Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, builders, and other professionals to understand design requirements and ensure windows align with the overall building plan.
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and perform routine maintenance on tools, machinery, and equipment used in the fabrication process.
Safety Adherence: Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with potentially hazardous materials, tools, and equipment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of materials used, work completed, and any issues encountered during the fabrication process.
Profile

- Trade qualifications in Shopfitting/joinery
- Previous experience in residential or commercial windows and doors
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- A strong work ethic and reliable, punctual attendance.
- The ability to work in a team environment and culture.

- Good communication skills.
