What this job involves:
As Facilities Manager you will be responsible for the facilitation of all on-site operations across a portfolio of retail assets. You will proactively ensure that the centres are fully maintained with your daily focus spanning EH&S, presentation, overall maintenance of the property, capital works and security.

In addition, you will ensure the safe working environment, presentation and comfort of tenants, JLL staff, suppliers and visitors in a manner which promotes the brand of JLL in the marketplace.

Key responsibilities of the role are:
Proactively engage stakeholders to ensure that on site client’s expectations are met
Build and develop effective client / stakeholder relationships across multiple levels of the organisation
Ensure vendors are well-managed, delivering services on time and within budget
Plan and manage all contracts to ensure that they are professionally delivered at the right costs
Actively work to ensure that the site’s financial operations are meeting or exceeding targets and control requirements including the JLL Code of Ethics
Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement Industry Best Practice operations
Ensure all Critical Environment (CEM) requirements are met
24/7 emergency call support and site attendance is required
Ensure escalation procedures and incident reporting procedures are implemented and maintained

Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for:
You will have proven experience in building operations, ideally from a mechanical engineering trade (electrical qualifications will also be considered)
Experience using systems and have proven skills with Excel and Word
Experience in the management of the broad spectrum of building services with emphasis on managing retail & commercial assets and their systems including fire systems, electrical and building intelligence is essential
Strong communication and customer service skills are sought, along with a proactive and positive work approach
We’ll expect you to have a high degree of independence on a day-to-day basis and be good at meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
Strong ability to build positive relationships and interact effectively with business partners.
Proactive with a keen eye for detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
