What this opportunity involves:
As the Facilities Manager, you will manage the day-to-day client activities for the assigned portfolio of properties, situated in our diverse, Government account. You will be the key point of contact for key stakeholders and clients.
You will assume overall responsibility for compliance, site budgets, accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, contract services, material purchasing, supplies & equipment, occupancy services and helpdesk interactions.
An Overview of the role:
Work in conjunction with the Helpdesk and manage escalations regarding contractor matters
Effectively analyse fault logging records to identify trends and implement mitigation plans accordingly
Manage asset register including building, plant and equipment inspections and reporting
Ensure works do not impede occupation and/or operation of the facility without client approval
Oversee compliance across the portfolio in relation to contracts, budget, KPI’s, stakeholders and JLL
Assist in budgeting and forecasting process and provide financial data to Finance Manager as required
Support Senior FM to proactively develop and manager occupier and client relationships to ensure service delivery is exceeded
Actively foster an environment encompassing teamwork, cooperation, performance excellence and personal success
Implement, comply with all internal management systems such as Corrigo, JLL onsite, CMO and iComply
Strive to achieve and maintain government sustainability aspirations, work collectively with ESS team
Sounds like you? This is what we are looking for:
Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Building, Business or other related field and/or 3-5 years experience in facilities, property management, hospitality or related field
Understanding of local OH&S requirements
Knowledge of vendor management for specialised services
Understanding of basic technical aspects of property
Demonstrated capacity to manage assets according to compliance regulations
Strong budget management and financial skills
Engaging communicator, good presentation skills and verbal/written communication proficiency
Self-motivated, confident & energetic
Outcome driven – able to focus on meeting all performance targets
Excellent planning & organisational skills with keen focus on work prioritisation to meet deadlines
