Position overview
ANU has an international reputation for research and education relevant to the health and well-being of the population of Australia, as well as that of the developing world. The ANU College of Health and Medicine comprises the School of Medicine and Psychology, the John Curtin School of Medical Research and the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health. These schools work together to deliver world-class research and education across the spectrum of medicine and health-related fields, working in partnership with the health sector at local, national and international levels.
The John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR), along with The Australian Phenomics Facility (APF), supports biomedical research activities by providing laboratory and animal services whilst ensuring the highest ethical and welfare standards for laboratory animals and that genetic and microbiological quality is maintained.
The Facilities Officer provides assistance to the Facility Manager in supporting the School's diverse range of plant and equipment, including but not limited to building maintenance and in the provision of preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure that the buildings operate to the highest operational and safety standards.
