Be Recruitment are looking for a passionate and experienced Family Caseworker in the South West and Western Sydney area to join a reputable Not for Profit organisation.
About The Role
This role is responsible for managing a caseload of families who have been assessed as having vulnerabilities and require a coordinated approach to accessing and engaging services and supports within the local area that address and prevent the escalation of current issues and concerns.
Family Caseworker will provide a tiered approach to support, which will include; short-term casework, case planning, parenting support, service coordination and active holding
About You
- Degree in Social Work, Youth Work, Community Services or similar with relevant experience OR a diploma with four years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of experience working with vulnerable families
- Understanding of child protection issues and response in line with legislative requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work with and identify the needs of CALD children, young people, their families and communities and work with interpreters where needed.
- Working With Children Check
- Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check
- Full Australian driver's license
