About our client...
Our client is one of Melbourne's most respected family law practices, with a down-to-earth office culture, excellent resources, strong leadership and a genuine passion for assisting their clients to a successful outcome.

They now seek to add further depth to their team by appointing an experienced Family Lawyer (2yrs plus) looking for career growth and a genuine career path assisting a diverse clientele both domestically and internationally.

About this role...
This is a career defining role and you will be a key player within this team, working closely with an LIV Accredited Specialist Partner, you will have the opportunity to further hone your skillset in assisting private & corporate clients (including pro bono) handling all facets of family & relationship law matters, in varying degrees of complexity, including exposure to international children's issues and other areas that may include but not be limited to:-

complex property settlements;
high value financial agreements; including superannuation splitting;
divorce and estate planning;
mediation and collaboration;
multi-party disputes;
injunctions/restraint orders;
same sex law/parenting issues;
IVF/surrogacy arrangements;
international children's (Hague convention) matters.
About you...
An ideal candidate would be an experienced Family Lawyer eg. 2yrs plus pae and will have:

a sound background in Family Law ideally within a 'recognised family law' practice; (Any aspirations to become an LIV Accredited Family Law Specialist will be encouraged & supported).
opportunity for handling own appearance work, mediations, negotiations etc.;
ability to work autonomously (as appropriate) with a pro-active, team-oriented approach;
desire & embrace the opportunity to provide 'pro bono' advice & assistance and take part in business development initiatives;
an excellent work ethic, eager for professional/career growth & development.
