Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen for a lawyer to join our team in Whangārei in sunny Northland! We are looking for the right person to join us in this vital role that offers a varied and interesting range of work, combined with a diverse client base.
Ideally you will:
· Have family law experience - we are flexible what that experience looks like! You could love the challenge of family court work such as Care of Children and Family Violence matters, or you could be a dynamo with real experience in Relationship Property, Estate Disputes - or even be a superstar who does it all!
· Be well organised and able to manage your own time efficiently
· Be a confident communicator with strong advocacy skills
· Be able to produce high quality legal work - both autonomously and as part of a team
· Be practical in your thinking with good attention to detail
· Hold a current practicing certificate and have a current resident status and/or the right to work in New Zealand
· Ideally you will have experience in Family Court (2+ years PQE). Experience in Legal Aid would also be a definite advantage.
