Monash Health Mental Health Services provides a range of community, bed-based and specialist services covering the Casey, Cardinia, Greater Dandenong, Kingston and Monash LGAs – a population of nearly one million.
The Mobile Support and Treatment Service provides intensive recovery-oriented treatment to consumers experiencing a range of mental health problems in their own environment.
About the Role
An exciting new opportunity exists to join out enhanced Mobile Support and Treatment Service as a Family/Carer Peer Worker. The Dandenong Mobile Support and Treatment is looking for someone with lived experience of caring for someone with mental ill health and recovery to join our dynamic team.
This role is part time position (0.5eft) 5 days per fortnight.

You are able to use your own life experience to support family members and carers in caring for a person with mental illness.
