What success looks like in this role:
· Provide support for hardware such as laptops, desktops and monitors.
· Install and maintain PCs along with associated accessories and peripherals.
· Perform installs, moves, adds, and changes as required.
· Test and certify PCs.
· Provide follow-up on problems, escalations and requests.
· Maintain a high degree of professionalism.
· Ensure customer satisfaction throughout all transactions.
· Ensure incident and request tickets are updated according with the ticketing system.
· Provide on call support.
· Some travel.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Prior experience working in hardware break and fix, installation, desk side software support and / or service desk support
- Strong focus on providing customer service, with great verbal and written communication skills (essential)
- Problem solving abilities and an analytical mindset (essential)
- A keen interest in developing a career in IT (essential)
- Previous experience with troubleshooting hardware problems (essential)
