This role is a customer facing Sales role, which interacts with our Grocery Customers in Coles, Woolworths & Metcash. This role is responsible for our Gippsland Territory.
This role is accountable for driving sales through ensuring product distribution and physical availability of our brands across prime in-store locations.
In addition, this role is responsible for driving the quality of displays, delivering excellent execution in line with Perfect Store ambitions and building influential relationships with key stakeholders to deliver incremental business and category growth.
Day Shift - 9am -5 pm
What are we looking for?- Looking for someone with minimum 2 years experience into sales preferably in Grocery / FMCG domain but not mandatory.
- Business Qualification an advantage but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships quickly & across a range of stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities; prioritize, adapt quickly & be decisive.
- A creative thinker, with an ability to quickly problem solve
- A strong team player – somebody who is high energy, can demonstrate strong ownership in previous roles & will actively contribute to team engagement.
- Strong commercial awareness, selling and negotiation skills with a demonstrated drive for results and passion for sales.
- Proven track record of delivering results, taking action to identify & address gaps, ensuing KPI’s are consistently hit.
- Driven, self-reliant and resilient - able to respond and adapt to a fast moving, swiftly changing environment.
- Comfortable analysing & interpreting sales data to derive insights, and then leveraging those insights in store to drive growth.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote environment which requires the ability to work independently towards a team goal and take ownership of results.
- Previous experience in Field Sales and Analytical roles would be beneficial for this role but is not essential.
- This role sits within the broader Mars Wrigley VIC / TAS Field Team. This role is a Customer Facing Sales Role & works remotely, out in stores for approximately 90% of the week. The role requires daily interaction with Grocery Managers to drive mutual sales growth for Mars & the customer out in store.
- This role will be responsible for ensuring excellent execution of display and the physical availability of our products over an assigned territory/region.
- This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn & adapt, the ability to manage competing priorities & work under pressure. Strong planning & organization skills are a must. This role also has responsibility for 2-3 Merchandisers (3rd Party).
- Previous Grocery / FMCG / Sales experience is an advantage but is not essential.
