Position:
Due to company growth the role of Field Service Technician is now available,
This is a full time permanent position based out of the Perth office servicing the greater regions of WA.
You will report to the Operations Manager and will work 8 days on and have 6 days off with 12 hour shifts.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Proactive focus toward safety and hazard identification
- Reading Electrical and Hydraulic schematics
- Complying with drawings and instructions for new installations.
- Installing and removing of components.
- Conducting technical inspections and job estimations.
- Undertaking maintenance, diagnostic and troubleshooting (repair based) activities.
- Fabrication and modification of mounting brackets
Your focus is to ensure the quality and efficiency of service, repair and calibration work is carried out and most importantly, to ensure the availability of assets and equipment is maintained at the expected level.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Auto electrical OR mechanical experience
- Ability to work within the mining sector and operate within the conditions onsite (Drug testing, Heat /Cold, Fatigue limits, remote work and adhoc rosters)
- Able to do shift work (12 hrs when onsite and to a maximum of 8 days)
- Ability to work in remote areas
- Valid C class driver's licence (HR is advantageous)
- Any experience or exposure to Earth Moving Equipment are strongly encouraged to apply
- Ability to read schematics
- Ability to work alone and unsupervised in remote areas
