The Position
Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes to high standards, considering dietary requirements and guest preferences.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, following food safety and hygiene protocols.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service during peak hours.
Adapt to different environments and kitchens while consistently delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
The Person
The candidate will have experience working in a high volume, buffet-style kitchen. To be successful, you will need:
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Trade Certificate
Creative flair and passion for experimenting with flavours and ingredients
Experience in fast-paced environments, ideally in remote site kitchens
Knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Ability to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and national police clearance
