About the role
Reporting to the Financial Administrator, the Financial Liaison Officer will act as the first point of contact to their 56 entities. You will provide financial support and on-going advice and travel to metropolitan and rural locations to support the entities.
Duties
Provide accounting support to their centralised financial services team
Support entities to ensure of all financial transactions legally comply
Support entities to carry out financial administrative functions including quarterly returns
Assist entities to implement changes in accounting procedures
Provide guidance to entities in preparing budgets and financial reporting
Assist entities in discharging external regulatory reporting obligations
Oversee annual reviews and audits
Skills & experience
Qualification in accounting
Knowledge of awards and salary packaging
