Job Overview
Title: Finance Manager
Reports to: Managing Director
Location: Melbourne
Position Objective:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director the role requires performing accounting functions and will enforce policies and procedures, define and maintain compliance with policies and generally accepted accounting principles. The role supports the strategic direction of Shaw Contract by developing and managing budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and analyses, and brings a solution-based focused approach to commercial activity.
The role is hands-on and works closely with the Managing Director and Leadership Team to prepare various reporting and provide analysis to proactively support continued business improvement and success. This position will be an extension of the Global corporate accounting functions of Shaw receiving both oversight and support. In addition, it will require to develop reports, analyses and projections for management, oversee ledger accounts for the organisation, maintain inventory and accounts receivable records and controls, be responsible for managing the accounts payable operations, and work closely with the parent organisation's accounting departments.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (Post-graduate preferred)
- Registered Certified Practicing Accountant or Chartered Accountant Qualified with at least 5 years' experience in a similar position.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- NetSuite, SAP, or other enterprise accounting software experience
- Travel & Expense Management System Experience
- Advanced M365 & Excel skills
- Foreign Currency Dealings
- Inter-company transactions
- US corporate reporting requirements
