Form of work An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join the Group Financial Control Team. This is a 6-month fixed term contract based in Barangaroo.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Group Services, the role will focus on delivering the management reporting requirements and delivering insightful analysis for the portfolio of entities that make up the Group Services business. You will work closely with the Group finance teams and the Senior Finance Manager Group Enterprise Services.
Key Responsibilities:
Extraction & analysis of financial information from core ERP system and ensuring the primary management reporting model is maintained for changes to underlying business structures and delivers appropriate P&L, cashflow actual and forecast metrics
Liaise with the Group finance team to ensure accurate management results for the portfolio of Group Service entities, identify and reconcile key variances within the management reporting model and facilitate the monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting close processes
Preparation and co-ordination of key monthly and period end reporting deliverables, including analysis to support management information and decision making and co-ordinating the provision of appropriate commentary and insights on risks and opportunities
Drive efficiencies in existing management reporting processes and supporting the Senior Finance Manager Group Enterprise Services in undertaking scenario and sensitivity analysis
Contribute to the annual budgeting process
About you:
CA/CPA qualifications, or equivalent
Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, planning & analytics
Advance excel skills and proven capability working with large, complex excel models
Experience in TM1 and Oracle preferred
Ability to develop strong working rapport with a variety of stakeholders
A confident and motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives and displays a high level of initiative
Excellent problem-solving skills will be complemented by your ability to reliably deliver quality outcomes in a timely manner within a fast-paced environment
