SalaryAvailable Salary Packaging | Lead A Supportive Team | Future Development AvailableSeeking a professional and experienced Finance Manager to join this large Gippsland organisation Your new company A Finance Manager opportunity is now available to work for a large, well-known organisation with approximately 500 employees, based in the beautiful area of South Gippsland. The role of Finance Manager will be to provide support to the finance and Corporate Services Director to ensure the business meets its strategic and financial objectives.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Finance and Corporate Services, you will be responsible for the following: Develop and provide recommendations on financial reports Complete reporting to the Executive Team and external stakeholders Preparing financial accounts including BAS returns, journals, reconciliations, etc. Identify appropriate grants for the organisation and liaise with key stakeholders as required Manage the Finance Department: Accounts Payable, Receivable and Business Analyst staff Maintain an accurate General Ledger and additional registers
What you'll need to be successful in this position Tertiary finance qualifications and CPA/CA accreditation Demonstrated experience with reporting requirements to external bodies Proven analytical and financial management skills with the ability to collate and critically analyse data, identify issues, assess options, negotiate outcomes and prepare recommendations and reports accurately High level conceptual and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyse evidence and provide advice on policies, strategies and recommended solutions Ability to provide leadership, direction, training, and advice to stakeholders in the delivery of financial analysis, financial sustainability, and resource management Strong leadership qualities to lead a small dedicated team of finance professionals Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines A clear Police Check will be required for the successful candidate.
