About the role
Our client is a registered NDIS provider, supporting people of all ages with a physical, intellectual or psychosocial disability. Due to growth, they are now seeking a CPA qualified Finance Manager to be part of their small but growing team.
The ideal applicant will be an experienced, hands-on professional who thrives on team leadership, continuous improvement and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day functions of the dedicated Finance Team, promoting efficient and accurate input and output, whilst ensuring overall cohesive finance functions are embedded within the organisation.
This role is permanent full time 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday and is located in Rockingham.
Duties
- Experienced in end-to-end accounting, including payroll and end of month reporting
- Experienced in reviewing and devising management reports such as, annual/quarterly budgets, performance indicators, and cash flow budgets
- Competent at Financial Modelling
- Statistical reporting towards business improvements and understanding, pricing strategies and quoting for care services including NDIS plan costings/reviews
- Oversee and manage team for timely and accurate NDIS plan management including expenditure tracking against plan and reporting
- Work with HR to ensure accurate application of pay schedules, awards/agreements, and contracts
- Prepare the annual budget and re-forecasts as required
- Co-ordinate annual financial audit and manage relationships with banks and other external parties
Essential
- CPA Qualified, Tertiary qualifications in finance or accounting
- Membership of a professional accounting association desirable
- Experience as a Finance Manager supporting Management and the CEO in ensuring best accounting practice and financial strategies are embedded within an organisation.
- High-level financial modelling skills
- Demonstrated experience in systems management/implementation
- Demonstrated experience in managing a finance team
- Strong organisation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
