About the role
Reporting to the Director Finance & Corporate Services, this is a full-time role for an experienced finance professional looking to lead and develop a broad team. Every day will be different in a dynamic healthcare environment - keeping you engaged and challenged.
As a senior manager, the responsibilities extend to include developing and delivering services, systems, projects and business solutions with the focus on continuous improvement. This will include:
- Management and responsibility for day-to-day finance, payroll and administration services.
- Preparation of financial reporting and annual statutory accounts.
- Project modelling, budgets and reporting on financial progress of projects.
- Development of financial modelling, reporting and forecasts providing timely and robust financial analysis.
- Establishing systems, tools and measures to plan, monitor, report on and analyse finance organisational performance and effectiveness ; and
- Leading and developing the team and promotion of positive workplace culture.
- Further development of finance business partnering with clinical and non-clinical department managers.
What you’ll need to join our Team
- You'll share our values and partnership approach.
- You have significant financial and commercial experience and judgement.
- You will have significant experience with financial systems and ability to report/analyse out of non-financial systems.
- Experience in financial modelling, budgets and governance.
- An understanding of the challenges within the healthcare sector and related financial issues.
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, accounting or financial management.
- CA/CPA accreditation.
- Team leadership and management experience, with a natural ability to coach, motivate and develop others.
- And of course, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
