Finance Manager, Regulatory (Apra)

Specialist Finance Manager (Regulatory Reporting) sought to work in a boutique & collaborative finance team.Due to growth, our client seeks a talented Accountant with regulatory (APRA) reporting experience, to join their team to primarily focus on reg. reporting, but also jump-in to assist with general month-end and financial reporting tasks as required.Working in the financial accounting team you will have a "can do" attitude, a hands-on style and be happy to be involved in day-to-day detail of a specialised finance function.APRA / Regulatory Accountant responsibilities will include the following:

• APRA reporting preparation
• Timely and accurate preparation, review, and submission of deliverables.
• Compliance with APRA and other regulatory standards and requirements.
• Assist in the month end processes including posting and approving journal entries posted by the team and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts including notes disclosures and board papers.

• Qualified CA, CPA, or ACCA qualified accountant
• Strong knowledge of the prudential regulatory framework and standards will be highly regarded.
• Strong technical accounting skills, including a solid understanding and working knowledge of accounting processes, principles, and standards (Australian Accounting Standards / IFRS).
• This is a senior appointment, with long-term development opportunities.
