The Position
St John of God Burwood Hospital is a 95 bed private mental health hospital located in Sydney’s inner west and has continued to provide personalised private mental health care in a supportive environment for over 65 years. St John of God Richmond Hospital is an 88 bed private mental health hospital in a beautiful garden setting near the banks of the Hawkesbury River, in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, northwest of Sydney. As a single services across two campuses, both hospitals provide inpatient and day patient treatment programs with a number of specialty areas.
We currently have a rare Finance Manager opportunity available to join a well-established across site Burwood and Richmond Management team.
While supporting the Director of Finance & Performance, this role has ownership of the operational financial management of Burwood and Richmond hospitals. This involves working with Department Managers on their financial objectives, managing all aspects of the monthly financial performance, including statistical information and KPIs, and analysing performance to make recommendations and actions to achieve the hospitals’ targets.
This position is being offered on a permanent full-time basis, working 38 hours per week across the two hospitals.
The successful candidate will have:

Formal tertiary accounting qualification and membership of an appropriate professional body.
