Are you an accounting and finance professional with strong management skills? Do you want to work for a company with a social purpose where you can make a real difference? If so, keep reading.

We are an organisation with a great workplace culture and a vision to improve the health and wellbeing of the people in our community. Our annual, independent staff surveys for the last 5 years have rated us as a ‘truly great’ place to work.

Your Role

  • Provide training and mentorship to Managers to build their financial capability and capacity to develop budgets and make financial decisions within their program areas.
  • Assist with the effective management of the company’s cash flow, investments, and financial modelling.
  • Identify and drive business system improvements within the finance domain which will support the organisation to focus on achieving its vision.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated finance professional to manage the financial requirements of the business. Reporting to the Executive Manager Business Services, the Finance Manager will assume responsibility for the company’s day to day financial function and oversee the end-to-end financial accounting and statutory reporting activities of the business. The role provides management for the finance team and champions a strong positive internal and external customer focused culture. The position identifies and drives continuous improvement in financial systems and processes and ensures financial information provided is meaningful to end users to support decision-making.

This role would be suited to someone who has an analytical brain, an eye for detail with high accuracy and loves people as much as numbers. The ideal candidate will be able to provide examples of delivery on reporting deadlines, people development and active involvement in business improvement initiatives. This role would suit someone who enjoys change and has a commitment to the Company’s ‘Values’.
