About the role
Mater Group is currently seeking a Finance Systems Support Officer to join the Finance and Operations Systems, Innovation and Governance department. This will be a permanent full-time position based in our purpose-built offices in Newstead.
Reporting directly to the Senior Finance and Operations System Administrator, the Finance Systems Support officer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of the system including all system administration tasks and escalating any issues as required.

Salary: $79,014 - $87,055 (MCA L4) per annum plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging
What you’ll be doing
The Finance Systems Support Officer will be responsible for:
Administration / control of finance and operations systems user access
Triage issues, queries and requests
Monitoring and resolution of issues, queries and requests triaged and assigned by the wider team
Assisting with system implementations, enhancements and releases ensuring that impacts on processes are understood and testing is performed before release.
Support gathering of end user requirements
Support writing test scripts and performing testing of solutions
Supporting successful delivery of SIT/UAT functions for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations processes and conduct informative and effective training updates to the lead trainer
Working with various Finance stakeholders to identify areas for process improvements
Handling of master data security, setup and configuration
Supporting and managing interfaces and integrations with other Mater systems
Ensure data integrity, internal controls and audit trails are maintained throughout all applications
Ensure timely resolution of all operational system issues
Ensure independent delivery of tasks assigned by the wide team and facilitate prompt resolution of the tickets raised in the defect log
Participate in ad-hoc projects as required
About you
To be successful in your application, you will have:
Qualifications:
Degree/Diploma in Business or Finance/Commerce or experience deemed equivalent
ITIL Foundation Certification is highly regarded
Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 FinOps is highly regarded
Experience:
Proven experience working with a large ERP (D365 highly regarded)
Sounds working knowledge of accounting principles activities related to general ledger, and sub-ledgers such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and inventory
Sound understanding of system governance principles such as segregation of duties
Intermediate to advanced computer/ technical skills
