The Asia Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore, with approximately 1900 employees.
We are currently looking to appoint a Finance Transformation Project Co-ordinator on a fixed-term 12-month (maternity cover) contract to support the roll-out of Workday (ERP) into our New Zealand and Singapore businesses.
Reporting to the ASPAC Financial Controller, this is a multi-faceted, project focused position where you will be responsible for supporting a variety of projects with administrative, scheduling and documentation activities on business cases, project charters, project plans, organising and chairing meetings and maintaining status reports for stakeholders. You will also work closely with subject matter experts and channel partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects as well as effectively monitor & present project updates to relevant stakeholders and project team members.
This is an exciting and critical project coordination role working with both internal stakeholders and external consultants to prepare comprehensive action plans including resourcing, timeframes and budgets for projects. It will incorporate scheduling and risk management along with administrative duties such as maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the preparation of business cases and CAPEX requests as required
- Helping in the preparation and reporting of budgets
- Working with local finance and management teams to identify & define project requirements, scope and objectives
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
- Coordinating project schedules, project management activities, resources, equipment and information
- Coordinating and agreeing project actions and timeframes with internal subject matter experts and channel partners
- Ensuring that local requirements are aligned to our standard ways of operating
- Assigning tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
- Establishing, maintaining and managing risks and opportunities
- Monitoring project progress and managing any issues which arise
- Acting as the point of contact and communicating project status to all participants
To be successful, you will have:
- 5-7+ years direct experience in coordinating and managing projects of a similar nature, ideally in IT re ERP/Workday implementations
- Ability to manage multiple internal & external partners and stakeholders
- Experience dealing with other AsiaPac countries would be highly desirable
