What you will be doing:
- Ensure the timely and accurate periodic posting of lease contract valuation.
- Liaise with auditors on lease matters, making sure all information provided to auditors is accurate and provided in a timely manner.
- Accurate journal posting to reclass the current and non-current lease liabilities.
- Ownership of lease related clearing GLs reconciliations and control accounts ensuring an in depth understanding of balances.
- Ensure the timely and accurate periodic posting of depreciation for the business.
- Review of disposal/transfer/renewal/early termination of leases
- Provide finance business partner support to projects, stakeholders and other corporate functions.
- Annual budgeting and quarterly and forecasting of Plant and Logistics functions.
- Review monthly Overhead costs and Recharges against budget/forecast to assist management with business decisions.
- Monthly recharges and cost allocations relating to Plant and Logistics Functions.
- Work closely with the Group Finance team, to ensure the end-to-end process is effective and efficient.
About you:
- Relevant degree qualification in Accounting/Finance.
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Ideal candidate will have experience in working in larger organisation/s and/or ASX listed.
- Sound IT skills: SAP (including REFX module), Microsoft package, Power Bi, Blackline and BPC.
- Advanced communication, interpersonal and organisational skills to manage relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and developing negotiation, mediation, and other conflict resolution skills to assess a situation and exercise judgement to achieve a positive outcome.
