Verve Partners are working with a dynamic organisation who are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team. Reporting to a supportive Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for all-rounded transactional accounting with potential to learn aspects of reporting and analysis.
The successful candidate will be a results driven team player, focused on contributing to a positive working environment. Assistant Accountants looking to take the next step in their career are encouraged to apply!
Key responsibilities of this role:
Processing monthly journals
Processing accruals
Preparation of monthly accounts
Assist with preparing balance sheets and cash flow reporting
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements
Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders across the group
Ensure financial compliance is met and develop procedures for best practice
Skills & experience required for the role:
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Business
Previous experience in a commercial accounting role
Team player approach
Strong Excel skills and the ability to pick up systems
Clear communication and the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
