SalaryNewly created role for an experienced Financial Accountant to join this well known retail and consumer brand. This is initially a 3-6 month contract role with potential for the role to go permanent.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for management of the Fixed and Tangible assets, including additions, disposals and transfers. You will manage the depreciation and amortisation, maintain tax register and all reconciliations and reporting.
In addition you will be responsible for month end processing and reconciliations for related accounts. You will prepare related monthly reports, assist in half year and year end close, audits and reporting. You will analyse accounts where required.
Finally you will deliver business reports for landlord sales turnover and produce annual audit certificates. You will also create a capital expenditure report and other ad-hoc reports.
To be considered for this role you will be CA/CPA qualified (or working towards qualification). You will have previous experience working as a Financial Accountant for a fast paced business, with a heavy emphasis around maintaining the fixed asset register. You will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to work without close supervision.
