We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Financial Accountant to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will have 4-5 years of relevant experience in the Manufacturing, Engineering, FMCG, or Pharmaceuticals industries. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the Balance Sheet, PnL, Month End Reporting, and Analysis processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
Preparation and review of Profit and Loss Statements
Managing the month-end closing process
Preparation of monthly management reports
Variance analysis and commentary
Preparation of statutory accounts and tax compliance
Ad hoc analysis and reporting as required
Strong business partnering with stakeholders across the business
Supporting the Financial Controller and Finance Manager
Skills and Experience:
4-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in Manufacturing, Engineering, FMCG, or Pharmaceuticals industries
Exceptional Balance Sheet, PnL, Month End Reporting and Analysis experience
Experience with SAP (highly regarded but not essential)
Strong Excel skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting or related field
This role is based in the Mascot surrounds with free parking onsite.
