As a Financial Accountant – Policies and Processes you will be responsible for assisting in the development of Bradken’s finance systems; inclusive of policies, procedures, capability improvement, and integration of technology and tools used by the finance team.
You will be the bridge between Finance, Internal Audit and other stakeholders, ensuring that policies and processes are in alignment with regional and central requirements, whilst ensuring compliance with the latest accounting standards and Bradken’s control environment.
You are a great team player and collaborate with the Finance Team and external stakeholders to develop a robust risk framework from a compliance perspective. You will have a demonstrated ability to negotiate successful outcomes within established parameters.
You are an excellent communicator and can accept responsibility for the accuracy of work processes and the flow of multiple tasks. You will support the standardization of process and policies across Bradken globally to ensure a One Bradken approach to financial systems.
Overall, you can identify process, system risks, and deliver enhancements to improve the functionality and efficiency of the business as part of continuous improvements.

Key Technical Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Business
- Over 3 years’ accounting experience, Big 4 / chartered background (audit preferred) or role within a large global organisation
- Demonstrated knowledge of finance policies, processes, and controls
