Do you love providing advice to members and empowering them to understand Superannuation, Insurance and investments. If so we currently have multiple Financial Coach (permanent & max term) opportunities available in our Direct Services Department.

The Role
The role is responsible for delivering great member experiences over multiple channels (Including Phone and Zoom). Through understanding member needs, you will provide guidance and/or advice by outlining the options and solutions available to members to help empower and improve financial wellbeing. We provide training and a collaborative environment where you will be encouraged and welcomed into an inclusive team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a high-quality member experience when providing General Advice to existing or new members
  • Provide financial education to members e.g. Investment concepts, Super contribution strategies, Insurance inside and outside superannuation, retirement planning options including superannuation, pension and transition to retirement strategies.
  • Communicate the value of personal financial planning advice to members and where appropriate connect them with aligned financial planners for comprehensive or specific personal advice until established
  • Assist members with new product applications including outlining options, application forms, insurance quotes, assisting with the underwriting process
  • Take ownership and ultimate responsibility for ensuring member records, opportunities, file notes and workflow tasks are created, updated and completed accurately in the CRM system.
  • Maintain advice related technical, ethics & compliance knowledge and meet all regulated education & professional standards requirements

To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:
  • Sound knowledge of financial planning and technical skills
  • Registered on the ASIC Financial Adviser Register
  • Extensive experience within financial services and a good understanding of financial advice concepts, process and strategy
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Detailed knowledge of risk & compliance
  • RG146 Qualified (e.g. Diploma of Financial Planning modules 1 –4 or equivalent)
  • ADFP highly regarded
  • Meet Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a similar discipline
