This investment management group specialise in a diverse range of investments including fixed income, real estate, private equity and equity markets. This business has a strong track-record of developing assets, as well as taking large businesses public on the ASX. Ambitious growth plans over medium to long-term to further scale their investments.
Job Description
Oversee the financial management of the company and its related entities
Ensure compliance with all regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
Take the lead on new financial systems that are planned to be implemented
Prepare and review financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and annual budgets
Manage the tax framework of the company
Prepare annual financial reports and liaise with external auditors
Manage financial systems and processes, and identify areas for improvement.
Manage relationships with consultants, brokers, and investment funds
Process capital calls and prepare distributions of funds
Evaluate and advise on the introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action
Manage risk through effective governance and financial controls
Cash-flow management
The Successful Applicant
CA/CPA qualification
Likely to currently be in a mid-senior position
Prior experience within funds management isn't essential but would be an advantage
Strong analysis skills and ability to interpret complex data
Strong experience in financial modelling
Manager/Senior Manager from chartered firms with family office/funds experience are encouraged to apply
