Your Role
Reporting to the Finance Director ANZ, your role as Financial Controller, will be responsible for all aspects of accounting, taxation & statutory reporting, accounting processes and controls.
You will ensure quality of financial information throughout the accounting process are consistent, complete, accurate, and timely to meet statutory and IFRS reporting requirements at Local and Group level, and be responsible for local treasury, tax, company secretarial and capital structure matters. In addition, you will enjoy project delivery, where you will lead and support on assigned projects.

As an experienced leader, you will maintain a highly engaged, high performing team. Actively support individual professional development, and complete all yearly HR requirements, staff development and succession planning.
A Typical Day
- Work with Shared Service organizations and all stakeholders on accounting and financial control issues and drive ECS compliance with Compliance teams
- Evaluating financial transactions to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS)
- Supervise period close & ensure financial reporting in line with IFRS and Group Reporting requirements
- Improve and strengthen financial processes and drive standardization & automations
- Manage external financial and regulatory audits
- Manage Treasury activities together with regional and group teams
- Drive awareness and compliance of group policy directives
- Manage tax related matters, ensure overall tax compliance, accuracy, and timeliness of company's tax reporting.
- Participate in Finance Organization Transformation, New IT System/ERP/tools implementation or enhancement, process automation, and continuous improvement projects as assigned, to drive operational excellence.
- Degree Qualifications in Finance related field
- Must have CA/CPA membership
- Substantial experience within Finance at a senior level
- Experience using SAP, Insight and Cognos will be highly regarded
- Local tax & treasury knowledge across Australia & New Zealand is essential
- Project Management experience is essential
