for more information. Sparus Holdings is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the operation teams and the company's Financial Planning and decision-making processes, leveraging expertise in financial analysis, KPI identification, data analytics, strategic planning, and team accountability. The Business Analyst will contribute insights crucial for strategic planning and optimizing performance. Essential Functions Performance Financial Analysis Expertise: Utilize a strong foundation in analysis, including production performance, schedule adherence, financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis. Interpret project performance and financial data to assess past performance and make recommendations for optimizing future business planning. Conduct in-depth financial and performance analysis to optimize performance, support strategic initiatives and business decisions. KPI Identification and Measurement Frameworks: Utilize experience in creating and identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to driving project success and the company's goals. Create measurement frameworks to track and evaluate these KPIs regularly. Set benchmarks, establish metrics, and report on performance against these indicators. Data Analytic Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI). Gather, organize, and interpret data to derive meaningful insights for informed decision-making. Identifying Emerging Trends and Impact Analysis: Identify emerging trends in data and project dynamics. Analyze the potential impact of these trends on project success and the company's performance. Make proactive adjustments and recommendations to optimize outcomes based on trend analysis. Strategic Planning and Problem Solving: Contribute to strategic planning by providing insights and recommendations to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance. Utilize strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and inefficiencies. Communication and Collaboration: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, executives, and other departments. Hold team members accountable to commitments they make, ensuring timely delivery of tasks and objectives. Time Management and Accountability: Exhibit excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. Extract information from others while ensuring accountability to commitments made by them. Attention to Detail and Accuracy: Ensure attention to detail and accuracy in analysis and reporting to guarantee the reliability of information used for strategic purposes. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial data for the development of budgets and periodic forecasts. Evaluate budget versus actual performance, identifying variances and work with operation management to provide explanations for review. Work proactively to refine forecasting models, incorporating relevant business drivers and market trends. Management Reporting: Prepare and distribute accurate and timely reports, including ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, annual, and project lifetime financial statements. Develop and maintain dashboards and other reporting tools for effective communication of performance information to various stakeholders. Independence and Proactive Initiative: Demonstrate the ability to work independently and proactively to advance initiatives, analyses, and projects without constant direction. Exhibit self-starting qualities to drive tasks forward and take ownership of responsibilities. Competencies/Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Proven experience in Financial Planning and analysis, with expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, creating KPI measurement frameworks, data analytics, strategic planning, problem-solving, time management, accountability, attention to detail, and accuracy. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and derive actionable insights. Proficiency in advanced Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI). Excellent communication and presentation skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
