ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter / Fitter Machinists for a Permanent and Casual roles in our Tomago Operations facility. You will be hands-on completing the Machining and Fitting of in-house designed components and enclosures which are required for our electrical products which are engineered to international standards for mining, utilities and heavy industry.
You will work within the specifications and requirements of our manufactured electrical systems including operating and adjusting metalworking machines to produce parts and assemblies. Our metal working capability includes operation of CNC Machines along with manual metal working machines.
ABOUT YOU:
Your willingness to gets hands on in a manufacturing environment will be complemented by the following:
- Fitting or Fitter / Machinist Trade Qualifications
- Willingness to learn, adapt and undertake a challenging role
- Operate CNC Milling Machines (Machinists)
- Complete Fitting works on Ex protected Enclosures (Fitter)
- Inspect for engineering compliance against job packages for new and second hand products and equipment;
- Complete required production documentation in line with quality standards;
- Safety as a core value
- A strong team player willing to get your hands dirty
- Forklift, Dogging, Rigging certificates – advantageous
