Beyond sales, we offer innovative mounting and installation solutions, servicing, spare parts, repairs and inspections both in-house and in remote locations.
Our key operation centres are strategically located in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane, with accredited agents around Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced Fitter - Welder (Workshop Technician) to join the team in our Melbourne office on a full-time basis.
The skills and experience required for this role are:
- Australian Qualification Framework Certificate III with at least 2 years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV, or at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications;
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Fitter - Welder in addition to the skill level;
- Experience in fitting, assembling, and welding metal parts and subassemblies to fabricate crane and other equipment installations;
- Experience in reading electrical drawings and hydraulic schematics;
- Assisting in the operation of the workshop function including ensuring the flow of work through the workshop is within reasonable time frames as instructed by the Product Support Manager;
- Basic knowledge of Automotive electrical circuits;
- Sound ability to liaise with customers in a professional and pragmatic manner; and
- In possession of a full manual drivers licence.
