Fixed Income & Currencies Business Manager - Commodities and Global Markets (Sydney / Singapore)

Join our Fixed Income and Currencies Business Manager team in Sydney - Sydney /Singapore - 12 month contract with option for permanent contract
In this role you will be working across all of FI&C's desks and across a range of products and geographical locations. Working within a tight knit global team, you will be exposed to great learning and mentoring support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- working closely with FI&C desks and our support groups to ensure compliance with our regulatory obligations while learning about our product offerings and our clients' requirements
- learning about booking systems and processes to drive better practices inclusive of liaising with external vendors to achieve solutions
- identifying risks in systems and processes and driving change where required
- collaborating and communicating with FI&C sales, trading, structuring & lending teams along with other stakeholders inclusive of other CGM businesses to design tactical and strategic solutions to meet FI&C and CGM business opportunities and requirements
- A minimum of 3+ years experience in financial services, ideally from a similar role, market risk, middle office, IT or Finance
- Working knowledge of derivatives
- working knowledge of Macquarie Trading System (MTS) preferred
- advanced PC literacy is essential, particularly in Excel
- the ability to work well under pressure and take ownership of your work
- the ability to build good working relationships with key stakeholders
- excellent communication skills.
