Fixed Plant Maintenance Welder/Boilermaker

The Opportunity

We seek a qualified, experienced maintenance Welder/Boilermaker at our Burra manufacturing plant. This role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and is a full-time position working a day shift Monday to Friday, with overtime available.

To be successful in this role, we seek the following;

Experienced Boilermaker/welder with trade qualification

Experience working with Arc/MIG & TIG on carbon steel and stainless steel

Ability to attain welding qualifications

Solid organisational and time management skills

A high level of attention to detail and accuracy is required

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Team Player

Proven safety record and the ability to follow safe work practices

Good computing skills in Microsoft Office

Drivers Licence/Forklift Licence

The successful candidate will be responsible for;

Fabrication and assembly of a range of carbon steel and stainless steel components

Interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications

Operation of machinery and tools to complete tasks

General Fixed Plant mechanical maintenance

This is a salaried position, and the successful applicant will receive an attractive remuneration package commensurate with the role. Additional capabilities, skills, and experience will be recognised where appropriate.
