Network Engineering keep us at the forefront of aviation, maintaining the Network fleet of aircraft in the WA Charter and RPT environment. Working with state-of-the-art equipment and resources, our shared commitment to professional excellence continues to keep our customers safe.
Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Qantas operating under the QantasLink banner providing aircraft and crew to service Qantas regional ports within Western Australia. We operate a fleet of jet aircraft, including Fokker 100 and Airbus 320.
As the Fleet Manager - Fokker, you will provide oversight into the safe and compliant operations of the NAA Fokker Fleets ensuring the continuing airworthiness of the Fokker fleet of aircraft is maintained through direct consultation and interface with key responsible managers within the NWK business and external approved service providers.
As the CASA appointed Responsible Manager for Fokker fleet you will act and make decisions on behalf of the Network AOC to ensure the safe, compliant and cost-effective operation of the Fokker F100 fleet.
As part of this role you will have:
Experience at a high capacity passenger transport operator/s including –
Experience in Airworthiness Directive and Service Literature Assessment.
Experience in Maintenance Program development and management.
Experience in aircraft Reliability Program management.
Experience in using maintenance information systems such as TRAX, IAS or MXi.
Demonstrated negotiation skills and implementation of complex projects and initiatives
Excellent stakeholder service skills – capable of identifying stakeholder needs and resolving issues
Proven experience in management positions and able to communicate effectively with all levels of senior management
Experienced team leader and people manager
Ability to communicate & negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Process driven, with experience in constructing new process’s to deliver business goals.
Highly motivated and committed to continuous improvement.
Able to build effective working relationships, enjoy working in a team.
Proven problem solving skills and an effective team leader.
Experienced in Supplier Performance Management.
Experience in process improvement
Detailed understanding and technical knowledge of project management tools / techniques and their application
Sound knowledge of business management, business analysis and review techniques
Understanding of aircraft systems including IAS and My Fokker Fleet is desirable
